Jerry Taylor started Taylor Custom Rings in Provo, Utah in 2015. He began this business out of a love for the jewelry industry. Today, he provides affordable, high-quality jewelry of all sorts to customers.
Taylor Custom Rings
Before starting his business, Jerry enjoyed nearly 12 years in the jewelry industry. He also managed a large retail store for many years. His interest in the custom process continually grew. He wanted to help people to design their own rings.
This was at a time, too, when online boutiques and purchasing were becoming the norm. The traditional retail model was getting more and more expensive to operate and manage.
So Jerry opened Taylor Custom Rings and decided to model it in a less traditional way. That decision has brought countless benefits, not just to him, but also to his customers.
Jerry and his employees enjoy satisfaction knowing that their customers are happy.
While they enjoy their work anyway, the rewards are even greater knowing that customers get exactly what they want. Customers aren’t forced to choose the “next best thing” because that’s all that’s in the catalog or the store. They don’t have to settle...and the employees don’t encourage or pressure them to.
While there is a line of products to choose from, customers can design jewelry that is the perfect fit for them. Taylor Custom Rings can design just about anything from scratch. The sky’s the limit!
What about the process, though?
True or false? Searching for and especially designing the perfect jewelry is a stressful experience. False; not so with this company! Everyone at Taylor’s aims to make it a fun, painless and stress-free experience. They put customers at ease. There’s no pressure, no sales tactics, no gimmicks and no secrets.
Plus, quality is assured.
How? For one thing, products are made locally where Jerry and his team can maintain more control over the process. Jerry saw firsthand the many issues that come with outsourcing to overseas manufacturing companies, which is a common practice with many retailers. Delays in filling orders and inconsistent quality are non-issues because of keeping things local.
Customers can be sure that they will receive only the best. What is more, they don’t have to break the bank. Because Taylor’s isn’t a large retail store, overhead costs are lower. In turn, prices are lower. Sometimes customers can save as much as 50% of what they would spend elsewhere! Additionally, the company doesn’t advertise, which keeps costs low as well.
"Different strokes for different folks."
Different elements are of greater importance to different people. Some care most about price, others about the experience or the look and quality of the actual product. Taylor Custom Rings caters to each customer according to what is most important to them.
These are exciting times!
Recently, a new line of rings was made available on the company website. Also, the Etsy shop is now set up. Quite a few new products are being designed by Jerry’s wife who is the Head Designer. There will soon be more rings, necklaces, bracelets and earrings added to Taylor’s line.
Even more exciting, the company has now begun offering lab-grown diamonds to customers. There is no chemical or visual difference between “real” diamonds, costs are about 30% less and they are more environmentally-friendly.
These are certainly exciting times for Taylor Custom Rings and its customers! More custom, quality products for affordable prices. How much better can it get?
