The Stretch Factor opened in Katy, Texas in the spring of 2016 with Co-founder Ryan Terry, a former NFL running back.

After his career as a pro-athlete ended, Ryan decided to become a personal trainer. During each session, Ryan would stretch his clients for about 30-minutes after workouts.

Soon, his clients started to intentionally request the “stretching” experience more than just after a workout. They wanted it on a regular basis. Driven by a passion to help people maintain flexibility and build strength, Ryan and his former client (and friend) Steve Eckerman, started “The Stretch Factor.”
